This is a little bit out of the blue, I've been having a difficult time with photography of late, anyway I was flicking through some photos on my laptop, seeing if I could trash a few random digital snaps and I came across this little set.
I went to the zoo for my 19th birthday- ignore how sad that is I freakin love the zoo. Anywho's I found the photo below, i'm so lucky to have gotten this shot, this photo just warms my heart. Found this young orangutan just chilling on a hammock, I got so distracted by it I almost forgot to photograph it, I only managed two shots and this was the best, the other one there was too much of the glass sheen visible. Anyway about 5 secs after this some guy with an basic nikon came up with his 2 ft long telephoto lens and sat infront of the poor thing for 15 mins. I wouldn't have minded but why get such a fancy lens when your camera is like 6 megapixels. pssh rant, anyway I love this photo and here are some more hairy beasts below.
I get that these photo's arent so great but im really feeling pretty low about conceptual photography atm and theres nought wrong with some happy nanimals. This was my 5D's first proper outing, i'm so paranoid about damaging it, i will deffo get snapping soon though man up liz.
I went to the zoo for my 19th birthday too haha! these photo's are good.. obviously I know nothing about photography but I liked looking at these and to me the are lovely photos :) especially considering getting photos at the zoo is quite ard with all the animals moving about and the glass and the other people in the way x
