cheeky test shot on the new cannon. I've been brave and am hoping to move back into digital and moving image. very exciting. so far in the few hours i've had both lens and body it is living up to my expectations, filming is gorgeous, i am thoroughly impressed by this camera's range and hundreds of options and features. It's going to take me a while to find out what suits me best, but this is really going to refine my technical skills.
However at around 4-7 MB a photo, not shot in RAW (i'm yet to explore that) i am definitely going to need a new hard drive, as well as a flash, a battery grip, new UV filters, a movie editor, screen protectors, external microphone and that's just the basics covered, im going to have to wish extra hard this birthday.
Today i also received an "invitation" on UCAS from MMU, just need to wait to hear from the university to find out when my interview is. I'm in dire need of setting up a portfolio, i plan to be rising very early and snapping very frequently. After that i will be filming some video's for Chicken Bone John to promote his products and skills. all very exciting, expect lot's of blogging, starting with tomorrow, a trip to china town, to try out this camera's portraiture potential.
Low and behold it's the firstpetwhohappenstowalkby shot, every new camera owner should do this, trying to find random subjects playing with all your settings, grumpy cats are always handy.
